Karachi, Oct 29: Pakistan’s women cricket team will face Bangladesh in the semi-final of the ACC Women’s Twenty20 Asia Cup in the Chinese City of Guangzhou on Tuesday with the winners advancing to a final against either Sri Lanka or India.

Despite their eight-wicket humbling by India in their last group game, Pakistan captain Sana Mir is confident about a positive result against Bangladesh.

“That result would not affect our performance in the semi-final,” Sana said. “The team has prepared well for the tournament and we’re hopeful of reaching the final and eventually winning the title.”—PPI
