QUETTA, Oct 29: Two people were killed and two security personnel injured in an exchange of fire in Malazai village of Pishin district on Monday, sources said.

The incident took place when the police, Levies Force and anti-terrorism force personnel raided a house in the village to arrest some wanted men.

The deceased were identified as Muzaffar and Asmatullah.The injured personnel, Hayatullah and Najibullah, were admitted to hospital.

In another incident, Qari Ziaullah, the prayer leader of Kalat civil hospital mosque, was gunned down.

Police registered a case and started investigation.

HOSTAGES RETURN: Seven people who were kidnapped from Dhadar area of Kachhi district earlier this week returned home on Monday, Levies Force sources said.

Ashraf, Nauroz, Hanifullah, Haji Al Fatah, Barkat Ali, Ghous Bakhsh and Faisal Saud were kidnapped on Oct 23, the sources said.
