Why would they take actions against themselves? All the G8 countries follow metropolitan system but unfortunately our ethnic pride is above our nationalism and we refuse to adapt the successful system. In Canada (big cities), you can only become a police officer in an area of a city if you have a permanent residence (District) of that area. At most and happens very rarely that an officer from a different area within the same city becomes an officer in other area within the same city. Its a simple theory, I will keep my own house clean, prone of damages and will be the best guardian then outsiders. Karachi is the perfect example of this theory. Majority of policemen and security personals in Karachi are all imported from big province and we expect them to have same sentiments as the permanent residence of Karachi? Can't Karachites not be trusted to guard there own cities and be recruited in security forces? In order to make Karachi a better, prosperous and violence prone city (a critical city to Pakistan), top to bottom administration must be handed down to citizens with only Karachi district. We have all witnessed that under Mustafa Kamal and yet we are keep screaming for change. What a tangled web we weave!

Mr. Talha Do you still believe that this govt. will take any action to resolve this killing issue in Karachi . The brutal truth is that our govt. will never take any action perhaps they will further spoil the situation. What a vibrant city it was and look what they have done to it. Really feel sad
