NOWSHERA, Nov 1: The Nowshera police claimed arresting 351 suspected persons, including 119 proclaimed offenders, in October and recovering huge cache of weapons from them. Police said the arrests were made in the jurisdiction of eight police stations of the district. The arrested persons were wanted to police in various criminal cases, including murder, attempt to murder and robberies.

The police also recovered 43 Kalashnikovs, 15 Kalakovs, 20 rifles, 21 guns, 242 pistols, 14 chargers and thousands of cartridges.

Police also seized 165 kilograms of hashish, 692 grams of heroine and 45 bottles of liquor. —Correspondent
