HYDERABAD, Nov 2: Activists and supporters of the Pakistan Muslim League-N held a protest against the registration of a murder case against Ameer Bux Bhutto, son of PML-N leader Mumtaz Ali Bhutto, and the Sindh People’s Local Government Act (SPLGA) 2012.

Carrying banners, placards and the party’s flags, the protesters were raising slogans against the government outside the local press club on Friday.

Leading the demonstration, local PML-N leaders Munawar Khushk, Ameer Jaskani and Fareedi Abdul Ghaffar Soomro blamed the government for involvement in registration of a fake case against Ameer Bux Bhutto.

They demanded withdrawal of the case immediately and alleged that the government was disturbed by increasing popularity of the PML-N.

They claimed that Nawaz Sharif would secure a number of seats of the provincial and national assemblies in the elections and would be the next prime minister of Pakistan.

They alleged that government jobs were on sale in Sindh and there was rampant corruption in all government departments.
