Young World not available in Turbat
I am a regular reader of Young World and enthusiastically wait for it every Saturday. Not only me, but my friends too love to read Young World. But for the last few weeks, we have not been getting enough copies of the magazine and we have to borrow it from each other. This is really disappointing!
Why doesn’t the circulation department of Dawn pay proper attention to the distribution of copies in every nook and corner of the country — especially in smaller cities like Turbat.
I request you to distribute enough copies of the newspaper in Turbat, especially on Saturdays so that we can read our favourite magazine without any hassle.
This is with reference to the story Betrayal by Javeria Khalid (YW, September 29, 2012).
The story gave us a very important lesson that ‘trust’ should never be broken because once it is lost, it is very difficult to win it again!
Therefore, care must be taken while dealing with the matters of trust! A little carelessness in this regard not only ruins our relationships but can also ruin someone’s life, so please be careful and never betray someone’s trust!
This is with reference to the story Betrayal by Javera Khalid (September 29, 2012). The story compelled me to pen down some of my own thoughts about it.
If we break someone trust then they will never believe in us. The contents of a diary are the private thoughts of a person, others should not read it and we should all be mindful of the privacy of others, even if they are very close to us.
I am also thankful to the Young World team for publishing such an interesting story.
The importance of books
A book is like a garden carried in the pocket. A book is the best of friends, and stays the same way today and forever. They have no complains or demands.
Books are important because they guide us and teach us how to live and spend our lives. Some books are just meant for pleasure. But most of the books are for knowledge.
We should read these types of books because knowledge is power. Books are also essential in life as they teach us wisdom and the price of wisdom is above rubies. There is a quote by Francis Bacon that I would like to share with all:
“Some books are to be tasted, others to be swallowed, and some few to be chewed and digested; that is, some books are to be read only in parts; others to be read but not curiously; and some few to be read wholly, and with diligence and attention. Some books also may be read by deputy, and extracts made of them by others.”
Without books, a man’s life is incomplete.
