Friend
A friend is the one Whom you can trust blindly; A friend is the one Who smiles at you kindly; Someone who loves you Knowing everything about you; Someone who prays for you When you have even minor flu; The one who hugs you in bad times, The one who buys you lime, Someone with whom You can share anything; Someone who can sacrifice for you Without saying a thing; The one whom you cannot see hungry, The one whom you cannot see angry, Someone who cannot make you sad, Someone who cannot say, you’re bad, In the end I would like to say, None of us can stay without a friend Even for a day!
Words are flown in the wind, Faithful friends are hard to find, So always care for your friends, And that’s how my poem ends!

My brother
My brother is like an angel, Sent by God for eyes to twinkle!
He is our little trophy, And he likes to eat toffee.
He takes healthy diet, And hates to fight!
He is as sweet as honey, And hops like a bunny.
He is as white as snow, And has a little toe.
He likes to play with water gun, And eats fruit bun.
He plays all day, And sleeps all night.
He loves to go on a ride, And also likes to go outside!
My brother is an angel!

Sun sets, but life does not!
The sky was open, sea was near, Sun was on its way to disappear, The image of the colourful sky came across, And the sea shone with a gloss, The yellow clouds were looking so bold, As they were bathing in melting gold, Suddenly the entire sky became red, As curtains of velvet are going to shed, But I’m hopeful that the shining sun Will come again and life will run!

When it rains...
On a very hot day, For the rain, people desperately pray!
And God showers His Blessings, And at last it starts raining!
Black clouds all over the sky, Roar and crack and start to cry; Then suddenly…
Fortune rushes, a welcome descends, Thunder claps, lightening clasps, Rain showers, pours and splashes; Excited and frantic children, Paddling in the ditches, Raindrops pattering over their happy faces; Trees shaking, flowers blooming, All creatures dancing, As the continues to sing; Coolness spreads, everything refreshed again, Bathing in the rain, they merrily sing, “We love you rain, Oh! We love you rain!”

Perfect life
I think life is perfect, But all we do is act and act, Act like someone who we are not, And we think we won’t be caught, Even though the Almighty Has shown us the way to piety; Still wrong path is what we choose, And then heaven is what we loose, So dear friends I would recommend, Bad deeds are what we should end, Faith is what we have to defend, In the way of God we should spend, After reading this I hope my friends, You will leave the bad trends, The right path is what we should follow, So you won’t feel your heart so hollow, After this I’m sure you’ll do, That will make your dreams come true!

Allama Iqbal
He was the one, who dreamt of our homeland; He was the one who struggled for Muslims’ survival.
Yes, he was the one, who united everyone; He told us to care for each other.
He was our great poet, The poet of the East, Dr Allama Muhammad Iqbal!
He wrote inspiring poetry, Advised us to maintain peace and brotherhood; To love Allah and follow Islam!
He encouraged Muslims to fight for their rights, He was a brilliant philosopher and poet, He warned Muslims not to fight with each other; But to remain united and Maintain discipline in the whole Subcontinent! He told us to respect our people, He told us to love our homeland; “Independence is a gift of Allah, slavery is a curse,” Said Dr Iqbal, our wise poet of the East!
My favourite poet, The poet of our nation, Dr Iqbal, May his soul rest in peace!
