KARACHI, Nov 3: Beaconhouse School System cricket  team (boys) beat Nixor College team by eight wickets in a friendly match at the Vital Five Cricket Ground, DHA on Saturday.

Beaconhouse won the toss and sent in Nixor College to bat first who were bowled out for just 119 in their stipulated 25 overs. Izaan Waqar and Moiz Khan of Beaconhouse North Nazimabad (Cambridge) took three wickets each.

Beaconhouse achieved the winning target of 120 for the loss of just two wickets in 16.3 overs with Saeed Khan top scoring with a fluent 50, supported by Hassan Khan who scored 45 not out.

In another match, Beaconhouse School System team outclassed Aga Khan Academy by eight wickets at the Aga Khan University Cricket Ground. Beaconhouse won the toss and elected to field first. Aga Khan Academy were bowled out in 24.5 overs for 116.

Beaconhouse then achieved the target of 117 in the 17th over for the loss of two wickets.—Agencies
