QUETTA, Nov 5: Chief Minister Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani claimed on Monday that his ruling coalition enjoyed confidence of the people and he could not be sidelined through conspiracies and intrigues.
He said in a statement here on Monday that he would never compromise on principles and on the rights of the people.
Nawab Raisani asserted that the situation in Balochistan was not as being portrayed by some elements and his government was trying to improve the situation to ensure continuity of development process.
He said people were the best judge to decide what was good and what was bad and it was their responsibility to differentiate between friends and foes.
The chief minister said some intriguers had launched a propaganda against his government at the behest of foreign forces.
But these elements, he added, would not succeed to undermine the government.
Raisani claimed that Reko Diq was the biggest gold project in the world and, therefore, efforts were under way to use it for the benefit of the people. He said his government respected courts and their verdicts and would fully implement their decisions.
