Bomb successfully defused near Quaid's mausoleum

KARACHI:The bomb disposal squad on Tuesday successfully defused a bomb planted near Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah's mausoleum, DawnNews reported.

There was a report of a suspicious package near near Jinnah's mausoleum at M A Jinnah road Karachi.

A bomb disposal squad (BDS) reached the site and defused the explosive.

According to BDS sources, the bomb weighed five kilograms.
