Stray dogs menace

Published November 6, 2012

ALL of a sudden someone grabbed my jacket from behind. Taken aback, I turned around to find a little girl. She was wearing a green sweater with her head covered with a blue scarf. I was staring at her in astonishment.

As though to respond to my curiosity, she raised her finger and pointed towards my left.

Looking into that direction I found a hound gazing fixedly at both of us.

The little girl was passing by and upon seeing the dog lying by the side, she got sacred to go any further.

To help her arrive at her destination, I held her hand and walked some steps till she could walk the rest of the distance.

This was to draw attention towards the street dogs that are seen loitering about all day and night. They pose a serious threat.
