ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that the cellular companies would be directed to deliver the prepaid mobile phone connections at the residence of the customers from Dec 1st due to security concerns, DawnNews reported.

Rehman Malik was speaking to media representatives in Islamabad.

He said that a satellite phone will be registered by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).

He said around 110 million mobile phone Sims were being used in the country. Adding that he said that sale of the Phone Sims would be prohibited at the regular shops.

He said that buyer should provide two attested documents proving his/her identity.

He said that Youtube would be restored if the video hosting site agrees to remove the controversial videos.

He said that anti-state elements were fueling the Shia-Sunni strife n the country. He advised the citizens to inform the police if they see any unknown people living in  madressahs and mosques.
