LAHORE: Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Friday said that after the Supreme Court's ruling on Asghar Khan's petition, Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif had no moral credence to continue staying in politics, DawnNews reported.

Speaking to media representatives in Lahore, PTI chief further said that "certain people who come to power through the democratic process expect that no questions should be asked pertaining to their corruption and misappropriation".

"Nawaz Sharif should quit politics in the wake of the detailed judgment on the Asghar Khan case," Khan said.

He added that all state institutions must operate within their constitutional ambits.

Khan further said that regardless of who would be in the Presidency at the time of the upcoming general elections, the PTI would be contesting.

He said the PTI had initiated its war against corruption and that it would take the battle to its logical conclusion.

Twice PM and twice bowled out and still trying to pad up to bat when the empire has declared that the second time was through back door. Nawaz Sharif should be banned from politics like cricketers when accepting bribes.

Dear Serensz, regardless, if PTI comes in to power or not. You are supporting a person (Nawaz) who is a crook takes money and gives money to come in power. I can,t understand you reasons to support him unless you are like him otherwise I don,t see any reason to support them. Becasue of these politicians and people who support them, Pakistan is in a mess. May Allah help us all and show us the right path, Ameen.

Man is worth when he delivers. Nawaz Sharif was twice PM and twice he failed to deliver be whatever reasons he may give. Imran Khan is willing to take up this challenge to deliver and if he fails he will quit I am sure.

Imran Khan should quit politics, I think. His campaign of disinformation continues to paint the taliban as "innocent victims of drones" while ignoring the fact that they are the killers of tens of thousands of Pakistanis and the worst enemies of Pakistan. At other times he paints these cowards who attack schoolgirls and send suicide bombers to kill innocent people as being some kind of super-warriors whom no one can fight. These lies, all to willingly bought by Pakistan's vapid elite, have sapped Pakistan's ability to fight back and finish of the taliban.

After the Supreme court verdict against Nawaz Sharif ,it will be better for him to go back to London, UK and live like Altaf Hussain. I do not belong to any political party, however, I always respect law & order.

Maybe but at least he did not run away at the first sign of pressure. Why doesn't Nawaz account fior his amassed wealth. If its legitimate then he has nothing to worry about. What about the dynastic politics? Has Pakistan been given in jahez to the Zardari's and the Sharifs ?

No. This is not the ONLY way Imran Khan can win. He will win if all Pakistani voters open their eyes and think what is good for the country not good for their particular favorate party. I live abroad. I wish I could vote for him. Pakistan need a sincere and honest leader like him.

PPP, ANP and MQM are the only parties who believe in secular Pakistan and are openly against good for nothing fundamentalist extremists. PML(N) is pro taliban and pro fundamentalist (malik ishaq is left hand of nawaz sharif) and gets a major chunk of votes from these elements. PTI has not made it clear so where do you think they are going to stand?

Imran Khan's wish could be true if Pakistani voters cast their vote. Think of a better Pakistan, rather then old politians who make money and enjoy abroad. I wish to see Pakistan like America, Canada, UK and many many other countries. I do not live in Pakistan but if Imran Khan come to power, I will move back from the United States.

Imran is quite correct, Nawaz was alleging only a few months ago that Imran was being supported by the army, now it turns out. Nawaz's own electoral sucesss has only been due to the same army. what a complete and utter hypocrite. The army should not be involved in politics, the people must choose of their own free will.

Political Credence? How about your credibility in moral standards? Imran Niazi saheb Justice should not be crazy, it should apply to all equally. Yes we need good governance. Why don't you speak up in favor of Kalabagh dam? Energy crisis and water crisis are ruining our industry and agriculture.

I agree with Imran Khan's comment that Nawaz should quit politics. However I would like to add that Shahbaz shareef to take the lead role. But I also think Khan sahib should come clear of what his agenda is. He seems to have many hidden agendas. A change does not suffice... or justice to all is just scratching the surface of the problems without deep thinking. He clearly did not support Malala's case, he has targetted Edhi in the past. I'm sorry, I don't expect any change from him. He seems to enjoy attention and that's all he cares about.

N-league brothers are mafia in themselves without any sense of politics for betterment of people. Serenesz I agree,but we need change and change we will get. Imran Khan is the only bright light we see and thus we will vote for him. InshAllah he will bring change and surround himself with the right and honest politician and technocrates that think for the country and not for their pockets. He has done a great deed by creasting hospitals and school, that is a begining that none of your party leaders have done before.

He is very much justified to ask Mian Sb to quit politics if he has moral courage and dedicated Muslim or he should clear his position. It must be borne in mind whatever he performed is absolutely Harram and whatever he and his team drawn from the national treasury must be return. Is any courgeous patriatic like Asgher Khan is there to challenge them to return state wealth to set precedent for the coming generations.
