LAHORE, Nov 8: Governor Latif Khosa on Thursday administered oath to new Punjab Public Service Commission Chairman Safdar Javaid Syed.

The governor had earlier twice rejected a summary by the chief minister to agree to the appointment of Mr Syed who was already serving as PPSC member. The rejection was based on legal reasons.

The simple ceremony was attended by family members of Mr Syed and some key officials of the provincial government. — Staff Reporter
