PESHAWAR, Nov 8: The district administration has imposed section 144 banning use of tinted glasses, display of weapons and open sale of acid, petrol, and kerosene oil for a period of 30 days in order to avoid any untoward incident during Muharram.

The administration has also banned transportation, stocking of construction material, movement of animals, digging of basements, pillion riding, distribution and display of provocative pamphlets, literature, wall chalking and use of loudspeaker except for azan and Friday sermons. — Bureau
