Five killed in Karachi violence

KARACHI: Five people were killed in incidents of violence in different areas of Karachi, DawnNews reported on Saturday.

In Old Golimar’s locality of Pak Colony, four people were shot dead when unknown gunmen opened fire on them near the Rexer Bridge area.

Subsequently, police and rescue teams reached the site and transferred the bodies to Civil Hospital Karachi. The incident created fear among the residents of the area.

Police said the killing was the result of a personal dispute and the deceased were involved in gang warfare.

In a separate incident, a man was gunned down in the Jumma Goth area of Korangi.
