ISLAMABAD, Nov 9: The US International Design-Build Institute has awarded this year’s ‘Education Buildings Honour Award’ to the USAID-funded earthquake reconstruction schemes in Pakistan. The award was conferred on CDM Smith Inc., a US-based engineering and construction firm implementing reconstruction and recovery programmes in designing and constructing earthquake-resistant schools, basic health units and hospitals in Bagh district in Azad Kashmir and Mansehra district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
