I do not count as i am not a Pakistani, but it does not prevent me me from wondering how can USA or anybody else leave part/issue/problem of Afganistan to Pakistan as Pakistan can not take care of itself.

Today all it is doing is to object to good work doing by Indians there and creating terrorism.

The Afgan refusees in Pakistan is a burden for Pakistan but Pakistan has lots of its citizens in Afganistan making a leaving.

This kind of articles is spreading the falsehood on the insurmountable aspect of Afghanistan. This is a country ravaged by wars, illiteracy and poverty with no civilization icons that qualifies it as modern nation state. If you want to help poor afghan then help them in their efforts in moderation, education and empowerment. The recent foreign powers invaded Afghanistan have not suffered defeat but they have defeated the poor people of Afghanistan perpetually. Please remember the Russian and American consulates are darlings for immigrants of sub continent countries..

What Hamid Karzai said was true. America blames Afghanistan for terrorism and taliban but the epicentre remains elsewhere. America will have to take down taliban leaders who are living in Pakistan. That is the only way to achieve lasting peace in the region.

Ideal case:
1) First thing to be done is conducting free and fair elections in Afghanistan this legitimises Government and erodes Taliban support.
2) All neighbouring/interested countries should some how contribute in building democratic institutions in Afghanistan this will help in bringing long-term peace in war torn region.
3) Pakistan should put in more effort to put down terrorist organizations on its side of border.
4) Fostering ties with Afghanistan democratic leadership should be of priority and Pakistan should accept a scenario where Afghan army will be stronger.
5) I don't see a scenario where Taliban could readily become a political party, renounce violence and let go its way of governance so Taliban should be squeezed from all sides without any prejudice.
