NAWABSHAH, Nov 11: A group of dacoits deprived a bride and guests of valuables at a wedding ceremony on Sunday in Sakrand.

A retired soldier, Ali Mohammed Bhatti, held the wedding of his daughter outside his house in Shahbaz Colony.

The outlaws came, held the family and guests hostage and took away with golden ornaments, sets of mobile phones, cash and also several items from the bride’s dowry.

The incident was reported to Sakrand police, but no FIR was lodged till the filing of this report.
