The people are the problem. Sipah-e-Sahaba exists because there are enough people who support it, both verbally and financially. Political parties just reflect the people themselves.

Dear Adnan,
The political parties have been tried numerous times. It is very obvious that either they are unable to control the miscreants from bringing the present chaos in Karachi or they are not willing to curb these activities. Whatever the case may be there can be no valid reason for their failure in maintaining peace and harmony in the metropolis. If they cannot ensure this necessity (which is at the threshold) what incremental privileges can you expect from them. Due to the prevalent terrorism the most basic need of security it seems has become the ceiling to measure a party’s success or failure which indeed is very sad.

i think all these political parties in karachi are playing…noora khushti.
They are playing for their own political aims and…if thats true we do not
deserve democracy.We only need a person who can put all these politicians
behind the bar and i can assure you ..karachi will be at its best.In current senario
in Karachi if you ask any person..they wont mind ..even..if this person is an army dictator.

Vote for the right people in next election. Otherwise the whole Karachi will become no go area. Parties with criminal records always blackmail each other and the person of Karachi suffers. Its very said community like Bhori is targeted who are the most peaceful peoples in Karachi. When I was young I witness that in our area if you are not supporting the leading parties your life will hell. When you reach to polling booth you find out that your vote is already registered and funny part was you see small kids aged 10 14 register their votes in ghost polling stations. I don’t what is waiting for the people of Karachi may Allah bless all of us.

I am convinced that no political party is interested in resolving the lawlessness in Karachi. Things can get better (hopefully) if heavy contingents of army deployed in the city. The democratic government has totally failed and it seems senseless that after holding the office for several years there is consistent deterioration in the law & order situation in Karachi. No we do not want to fool ourselves that the present govt will NOW ACT FINALLY. Things were far better in the times of so called dictator Musharraf. I would hope that military takes over. This is the wish of a common man.

Our souls are dead simple is that every single day we see hear dozens of death but nothing happens its keep going on for decades , blame game does not stop as matter of fact it is use for political gains we are calling for Allah warth surely we have to shun our political ,ethnic,religious difference to solve this unfortunate situation before we get to point of no return.

Again and again, it has been proven that politician cannot maintain peace in Karachi. Only the military can bring peace to Karachi. Impose Marshall Law and throw all party leaders out of the city. Life is too precious to give for the sake of some dubious democarcy for some time.
