ISLAMABAD, Nov 12: Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina decided on Monday not to visit Pakistan to attend the upcoming D-8 conference despite having initially agreed to do so.
Bangladesh will now be represented at the summit scheduled for Nov 22 by Foreign Minister Dipu Moni.
“We are yet to hear from the Bangladesh Foreign Office, but the indication that we are getting is that Prime Minister Hasina will not go to Islamabad,” a Pakistani diplomat in Dhaka told Dawn.
