Pakistan suffers because of the terrorism that originates in Pakistan (my sympathies) and the rest of the world suffers from terrorism that originates in Pakistan!

Because the establishment draws distinctions between their pet terrorists who attack Pakistan’s neighbors (like Haqqani and Hafiz Saeed) and those who attack Pakistan. They at best ignore and at worst arm and finance the former while facing losing battles against the latter.

Remove that distinction and attack them all is what the international press is saying. If Pakistan does, it can get back its standing as a good citizen and its neighbors would gladly help it.

Here in Pakistan terrorism is a thriving industry, whether it be in the form of arms and ammunition, in the form of Hawala (illegal money transfer) or in the form of the drug trade.

There is also a lack of trust that is playing a part and not without any reasons. If all these are enemies of Pakistan especially after attack on Malala then why there is no national consenses against terrorism? There is still reluctance among many to get rid of them as they are the result of decades of hard work as a tool for tactical gains. It is high time to start unilateral action against them otherwise Pakistan will be more isolated and claims of victim will further lose its value
