Solar eclipses are nature’s way of unifying the world in admiring and acknowledging the magic in the universe. On the ground, where most of us feeble mortals have to enjoy the view from, a solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between the Earth and the Sun. Thus either fully or partially eclipsing the Sun. The solar eclipse in Australia today was a complete one for the duration of two minutes and four seconds. Such an eclipse is the first of its kind in over a millennium.—Photos by Agencies
