KARACHI: Four security guards were injured while offering resistance during an armed robbery attempt, whereas security forces arrested 28 suspects during targeted operations in Karachi, DawnNews reported on Friday.

Four security guards were injured upon offering resistance during a robbery bid near Al-Noor Motors in Karachi’s Sohrab Goth area. The injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where their condition was reported to be stable.

Meanwhile, police conducted targeted operations in Darpan Bazaar and Ghousia Colony areas in Jamshed Quarters and arrested 20 suspects. According to the police, illegal weapons were recovered from the arrested suspects.

The Rangers conducted separate raids in Karachi’s Gulberg area arresting eight suspects.
