ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA) Farooq Awan said Thursday that the video sharing website Youtube may be opened in Pakistan within 20 days.

Awan said that talks were underway with Google the company which owns Youtube to block the blasphemous contents, a private television channel reported.

Pakistan’s Prime Minsiter Raja Pervez Ashraf had ordered shutdown of video-sharing website Youtube on Sept 17, in the aftermath of protests against anti-Islam film “Innocence of Muslims.”
