Two injured by robbers

LAHORE, Nov 17: Robbers injured two citizens and looted cash and valuables worth Rs800,000 in five hits in the city on Saturday.

Three robbers entered the post office at Mayo Hospital and looted Rs70,000. They shot at and injured post office employee Abbas on resistance and fled.

Two armed men stopped Zahid Khan at Badami Bagh’s Alya Town and deprived him of Rs15,000.

They attacked Zahid with butt of a gun on resistance.

Three robbers barged in the house of Faisal Mahmood in the Islampura police limits and took away cash and valuables worth Rs150,000.

Four robbers including a woman stormed Aslam Cheema’s house at New Garden Town, roped his workers and took away cash and valuables worth Rs300,000.

Three men entered the shop of Tahir in Daroghawala in the Baghbanpura police area and looted Rs250,000. — Staff Reporter
