ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly on Tuesday unanimously passed a resolution strongly condemning Israeli aggression and killing of innocent Palestinians in Gaza.

The resolution was presented by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) parliamentarian Zahid Hamid.

The resolution strongly condemned Israeli armed forces’ aggression in the occupied Palestine and said these acts have exposed brutal face of Israel.

The resolution called on the international community to immediately end Israeli aggression and ensure peace so that Palestinians could live with dignity.

Moreover, the resolution also called on the government of Myanmar to perform its constitutional obligation and stop killing and displacement of Muslims.

It called upon the Myanmar Nobel Peace Winner Aung San Suu Kyi to raise her voice for the protection of Muslims in Myanmar.

The lower house of the parliament also passed a separate resolution of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) in support of innocent Palestinians.
