Internal emails offer details on bin Laden burial

WASHINGTON: Internal emails among senior US military officials reveal that no sailors watched Osama bin Laden’s burial at sea from the USS Carl Vinson and traditional Islamic procedures were followed during the ceremony.
The emails, obtained by The Associated Press through the Freedom of Information Act, are heavily blacked out, but are the first public disclosure of information about the al Qaeda’s leader’s death.
Bin Laden was killed on May 1, 2011, by a Navy SEAL team that assaulted his compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan.
One email sent on May 2 by a senior Navy officer briefly describes how bin Laden’s body was washed, wrapped in a white sheet, and then placed in a weighted bag.
According to another message, only a small group of the ship’s leadership was informed of the burial.
they wrapped him in a white sheet, following ‘islamic tradition’ and then threw the body in the sea? since when have muslims being allowed to throw dead in the seas? US should have had made up a better story!

Osama bin Laden has not been killed in any operation.. this is a fraud. there is no proof.US cannot be trusted. It is a white lie to get some political interests.

9/11 was a white lie….. it was a preplanned incident in which some muslims youth were used in order to get the wider political, monetary and geographical interests. it was plan to give a practical shape to the new world order. it was a heinous plan. USA is a big liar and its people are worth pity for believing the lies its media says.. Most of the americans are not even aware of the nearby areas that is 100 meter away from them so how they would know the truth.

Yes he is alive and well and living in Washington DC. You can see him sometimes sitting behind President Obama in the cabinet room. It could be Lincoln, I am not sure, very suspicious indeed.

I don’t believe this.Every information given by USA cannot be confirmed independently. If this event was true how come they’re not showing any evidence. Remember they showed details of saddam capture. So why they are not showing anything of Osama when he was considered number 1 enemy more than saddam
He is gone and all his deeds went with him now only Allah will judge him if he did anything against the teaching of Islam he will be punished in Allah’s court and Allah’s court is fair and just. We live in amazing time too much information too fast and many a time made up information. Based on the article I am wondering why this information being released now it looks like some group is trying to keep the him alive in the memorize of the people for their benefit.

I have no doubt that bin Laden is dead. But I doubt he was buried at sea.
