I don’t think the “establishment” had anything to do with Lyari gangs. Instead they came up cuz of the power vacuum and patronage from sitting politicians. Blaming everything on “establishment” is populist and convienient.

what wonders me is the way in which our general is talking. He forgets that he is subordinate to the political leadership and if he has an iota of patriotism left, he should only follow orders.
