HYDERABAD: Seven persons were killed while eight others sustained injures when a speedy, overcrowded van overturned near Jhangara, 140 km from Hyderabad on Friday night.

According to Edhi Centre, a group of mourners was coming back to their homes from Sehwan after attending a Muharram Majlis.

At Jhangara town the van was over turned due to over speeding. As a result seven persons expired on the spot while eight others sustained injures.

The Edhi ambulances rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies and injured to the Taluka Hospital in Sehwan.
