KARACHI: Demonstrating another powerful game, Pakistan's Mohammad Asif stormed into the knock-out rounds of IBSF World Snooker Championship in Sofia, Bulgaria, when he out-potted Fabian Louison of Canada 4-0 on Tuesday evening, APP reported.

With his third straight win in pool “H”, Asif maintained his top spot in the five-men group.

The 30-year-old Asif, who lost in the last 32 round in the World Championship in Hyderabad, India, last year produced a spectacular potting and safety play against Louison.

National Champion Asif faced a some resistance in the first two frames, But outclassed his French opponent to chalk out an impressive 67-31, 81-28, 78-08, 71-18 victory.

Asif's form can be gauged from the fact that he has dropped just one frame in his three league matches so far.
