Malik announces Rs200 million for information on Ehsanullah Ehsan

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Tuesday said anyone providing information on the whereabouts of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) spokesman Ehsanullah Ehsan would be awarded rupees 200 million, DawnNews reported.
Speaking to media representatives in Islamabad, Malik said Ehsan was working for foreign elements and vowed to soon reveal all on the TTP spokesman.
The minister added that the TTP was a divided organisation and now constituted of various groups, including the Waliur Rehman faction, the Hakimullah Mehsud group and other small factions.
Malik moreover questioned as to what kind of shariah the TTP spokesman wanted to enforce in the country which legitimised the killings of innocent civilians and sanctioned suicide bombings.
He said “terrorists” were defaming the religion and shariah for money, adding that, the government had struck a peace agreement with the Taliban in Swat which the latter had themselves violated.
Malik added that if “terrorists and miscreants” surrendered and gave up their weapons, the government could consider giving them amnesty.
Mr Malik, an idea….ask the army.
And audit of those 200m will not be possible because informer’s identity can not be disclosed due to security reasons.
Offering the reward is an admission by the corrupt rulers that it has failed miserably to protect the people of Pakistan . I agree with some of the comments that this reward money will go into the pockets of these corrupt politicians and will be used to influence the results of the forthcoming elections , May God Bless Pakistan.
Maybe ask for help for the drones to fine and kill him?
Soon, the igcognizant public would witness a breaking news that Ehsan Ullah Ehsan has been captured or killed and Rs. 200 million would be trasfered to the unknown informer.
And the doctor who helped in getting Osama killed has been prosecuted by the same Govt. Let’s hope we have choice to elect sincere people in the next election and lets also hope we elect the sincere people.

Why to offer bounty when Mr Malik knows the ‘hide out’ of Ehsan? Its claimed by him in many statements.
Y dont you try to earn this money urselve Mr Malik. A sincere effort can make u win 200 million easily without any corruption involved.
You see when you release their comrades from Jails in pakistan shows your commitment to fighting these people what should happen is to release them if you want but shoot them dead as soon out of the jails gate bu you do not want to do it as you make money out of it.
I bet you know lot of them and their Identity thay are all over in houses of Ji and similer so called relegious parties also in Mudressas Masjids and in your neighborhood .
If Sharia is a part of Islam or rather way of Islam, then why Pakistanis, especially ministers are afraid to Implement it……?

I am surprised he has not ordered a report. Why can’t the govt trace the terrorists phone calls to Hamid Mir and the other journalists? And religion should have nothing to do with the business of the state. There are 2 theocracies in the world today, Israel & Pakistan, and look at the state of both countries today.

There is no room nor can be any room to talk to any one fighting the state of Pakistan. Period. Catch them and give them exemplary punishment as a deterrence to others. And those self assumed political spokesmen of the devils must also be duly punished guys like Munawar Hasan, Fazlurrahman, Hamid Mir, Hameed Gul, Imran Khan and the like. We cannot give up. We have given a very long rope. Stop their fuel, stop their water and all supplies. Do something positive man. How come an individual is stronger than the state? If this much money is offered Ehsanullah Ehsan himself will come and collect it.

In Islam Religion is our Politics, Islam never believe on coward politics and the one prevailing here is the remains of Imperialism. Islam is also no linkage with Talibanization as Rasool e Islam SAWW spread ISLAM through Love and Peace. Islam teaches lesson of Tolerance and the meaning of Islam is to enter in to Peace. Talibanization is just a rhetoric. We don’t know who plans suicide bombings and there is no evidence that whether Ehsanullah has any link with Taliban or not. The question is who is benefiting the most from destabilizing Pakistan.

I consider religion should be miles away from politics. Problem starts when it tries to control state in the name of religion.
