We all are taught a good and simple form of Islam at our homes. That is good enough to lead a harmonious life. Who needs to make a simple learning of our religion to be made more complex at Schools who are bent on making religious teachings all the time tilting toward extremism. IB is a great programme to get ready for college. My children did that and entered a successful life. Thanks to the well balanced education.

I go to an IB Diploma school in the US, and I must mention the fact it grows kids into thinkers. Although I have not entered the workforce yet, I feel a sense if maturation when I evaluate world happenings critically and with balance. This skill is important for Pakistanis and Muslims because then they complete actions with more rationality. Even though religious study is not part of the IB curriculum, the thinking skills have shown me the beauty of how rational Islam is. At the same time, the IB breaks down stereotypes leading to more tolerance. Pakistan would thrive with the IB (though it is not 100% perfect)

I do IB for 16-18 year olds in the UK instead of A Levels and I can tell you the work load is absolutely ridiculous! With IB you can only pick two out of these three things: sleep, a social life, and good grades. It takes everything out of you, and I just wish I’d taken the normal A Levels. Yes, it’s great that we’re getting an international perspective, bla bla bla… but when you’re focused on the mountain of work facing you in the evening and night, and feel dead from the night before, it’s kind of impossible for it to go in…

I scored well wnough on the IB exams to get into a medical school in a somewhat sleepy town in europe! IB is intellectualy stimulating compared to what I gone through when I was studying in Pak!
