I WAS having a haircut in a saloon when on TV in the shop I heard the news of massacre perpetrated by suicide bombers in all provinces on Muharram 6. I just asked a few people present there: “Could you tell me who is causing this bloodshed and what for?”
After some silence, one answered: “I don’t know and I don’t care, I am only interested in my job and reaching home safely. I will forget about what happened yesterday, killing is an everyday affair. How long should I worry?”
Others present at the shop more or less agreed with these remarks.
Isn’t this the feeling of most of us?
