KARACHI, Nov 30: The Sharafi Goth police registered a case regarding the killing of three office-bearers of the Mohajir Qaumi Movement (MQM-Haqiqi) on Friday.

Three MQM-H leaders — vice chairman Zafar Qaimkhani, Aleem Khan and Abdul Qadir Galani — and a taxi driver were shot dead by assailants in a Landhi locality on Thursday.

The case (FIR 329/2012) was registered on a complaint of Tahir Ali, an MQM-H worker, under Section 302 (premeditated murder), 109 (abetment) and 34 (common intention) of the Pakistan Penal Code.

The complainant nominated four suspects, including Hammad Siddiqui, Raees Mama and Irfan Lamba. The name of the fourth suspect was not disclosed even by senior police officers approached by Dawn.—Staff Reporter
