MANSEHRA, Nov 30: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid provincial president Syed Qasim Shah has said that his party could make seat adjustment with any political party, including Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in coming general election.

“We have no personnel vendetta with any political party as our party is the mother of all parties and can make electoral seat adjustment even with PML-N in coming general election in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,” said Mr Shah while speaking at a press conference here on Friday.

Mr Shah, who is also special advisor to prime minister, claimed that his Muslim League was parent political party of Pakistan and wanted to pull it out of the current crisis.

Answering a question, he said that Kalabagh Dam was in the larger interest of the country and the government should develop consensus to build it to overcome energy crisis.

The PML-Q provincial president is in Mansehra for last one week and making arrangements for public gathering of deputy prime minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi on December 2. He said that Mr Elahi would announce construction of airport in the division and supply of natural gas to Balakot.

He said that preparations for the public meeting were being finalised and it was expected that people from across Hazara would attend it. —Correspondent
