Palestinians have sacrificed a lot, a lot, in human tragedy, destruction and loss of their houses, properties and family break-ups due to death, poverty and un-safe living conditions with no jobs to earn a survival bread and butter for their future generations. Let’s hope and pray that they achieve their legitimate rights sooner, it’s now 60 years that they are struggling and living a life of second class citizens of this fast progressing world. I couldn’t agree with you more. As outside observers we have to take note of the ground situation and where we go from here. The point is Palestinians are entitled to their state as much as Jews were in 1948. That Israel continues to occupy territories that do not belong to it is the other basic fact of the situation. This is also the cause of the periodical flare up of missile firing at Israel by Hamas. If Israel goes on with this attitude it is logical to expect that Hamas’s firing of missiles shall resume and also that the missiles shall go on becoming morel lethal. Even Israel’s Iron Dome shall not be able to stop all missiles fired at Israel. If even a small number went through they will cause unacceptable damage in Israel. It is in Israel’s interest to engage in negotiations at a general Middle East Conference which should eventuate in the acceptance of Israel and Palestine by both and by others and the evacuation of Israel’s occupation of territories that it has illegally occupied since 1968. 2. “Palestine can join the Statute for the International Court of Justice, sue Israel at the World Court, and break the illegal siege of Gaza;

3. “Palestine can join the Law of the Sea Convention and get its fair share of the enormous gas fields lying off the coast of Gaza, thus becoming economically self-sufficient;

4. “Palestine can become a High Contracting Party to the Four Geneva Conventions [this deals with the laws of war];

5. “Palestine can join the International Civil Aviation Organization and gain sovereign, legal control over its own airspace;

6. “Palestine can join the International Telecommunications Union and gain sovereign legal control over its own airwaves, phone lines, bandwidths.”
