I personally feel it is a question of weak governance and rampant corruption in Pakistan. Whether Pakistanis like it or not, they will have to tighten their belts, live a simple life and work hard to bring about honesty and fairness in their everyday dealings. Only saying superficially “Insha-Allah” and performing religious rituals will not help!

If you are still attending Imran Khan’s money-collecting expeditions to Pakistan, then you are being fair neither to yourself or to the thousands of Pakistanis who have died at the hands of his “innocent taliban” or to the Pakistani nation itself which has been reduced to being a basket case by the brazen refusal of the taliban to respect the right of the people of Pakistan to be ruled by elected representatives rather than by those seeking power through force.

Being a cricket Hero doesn’t necessarily means that Imran Khan has the abilities to lead the country. Just like Air Marshall (rtd) Asghar Khan he might be an honest person but not the abilities.

Imran Khan just wants to heavily, heavily defeat the two major political parties as this is a question of his own credibility (and his own ego). Now, he could have taken a liberal approach or a conservative approach to achieve this end. Any ideology or any approach is just means to him. The end is to win the election. In today’s Pakistan, which is isolated from the world and is going backwards, it would be hard to appeal to the masses using liberal agenda. So, he found it more convenient to use right-wing agenda to try and get his tsunami sweep everyone else. Do you think he cares or knows about IRA, talks between USA and Afghan Taliban, etc. when he justifies his own stance? He knows that it is okay to take any means as long as end is likely to be achieved.
