LADHA, Dec 1: Three people, among them a foreigner, were killed when a US drone targeted a moving vehicle near Wana in South Waziristan on Saturday, officials said.

Two missiles fired by the drone hit the vehicle in Ghwa Khwa area, some 10m west of Wana.

Assistant Political Agent Shahid Ali confirmed the deaths.

Two locals and one Arab were killed, but their names could not be ascertained.

Meanwhile, a Yemeni national injured in a drone strike in Shin Warsak area near Wana on Thursday died on Saturday. The attack had left three people dead. The Yemeni was identified as Abdul Baqi.
