PESHAWAR, Dec 5: Police claimed on Wednesday to have arrested 61 accused, including 15 proclaimed offenders, during raids in the provincial metropolis.
A police spokesman said that police had arrested the accused during night raids and also recovered 23 pistols, two rifles and contraband from their possession.
The proclaimed offenders, he said were wanted to police in different cases, saying that the rest of the accused would also be produced to courts today (Thursday). —Bureau Report
