It’s a pleasure to know that we have people like the author who are well-known in the important circles of people who matter. These are the people who can really matter in politics or otherwise in all spheres of neighborly contacts. It’s rather annoying that our traditions of governing are rather inverted people like the author should be included in any parleys with the Indians as it would make seious matter much simpler if the two sides sat and talked on a friendly manner and would not be dagger drawn at all times and there would be less mistrust. For example Obama’s good friends have been Pakistanis in his college days but we have never used that connection to our advantage as most other counties would have done. Seems rather a waste. President Zardari on the other end can’t do much with Washington as Obama doesn’t like or trust people like Zardai as he knows they are not deserving and therefore cannot be relied upon.
