IJT holds demo

Published December 7, 2012

LAHORE, Dec 6: The Islami Jamiat Talaba, Punjab University, on Thursday staged a protest demonstration at campus bridge against government’s failure to arrest killers of IJT central committee member Awais Aqeel.

The protest demonstration was led by IJT’s PU Nazim Haq Nawaz.

Talking to reporters, he said the government had failed to arrest Awais’ killers even after seven months. He said the IJT would launch a protest campaign from Lahore and spread it across the province and then across the country if the killers were not arrested. — Staff Reporter
