England within touching distance after rolling over India

England were on the brink of handing India another crushing defeat, their first set of consecutive home Test defeats since 1999-2000, after running through the hosts batting lineup on day four of the third Test at Eden Gardens.
India were 239/9 at stumps, an overall lead of just 32 runs, on a day that once again served the subcontinent giants a case of English spin.
Graeme Swann plucked open the gates, going through opener Virender Sehwag with a vicious off-break that sliced through the batsman. Swann also picked up Sachin Tendulkar and along with Monty Panesar softened the hosts for Steven Finn (3-37) and James Anderson (2-38).
The ensuing collapse, six wickets for 36 runs, looked certain to hand Alastair Cook’s men an unassailable 2-1 lead in the four match series, when Ravichandran Ashwin, batting at number eight, put down anchor. He was unbeaten on 83 off 151 ball.
Earlier, England resuming on 509/6 were bowled out for 523, taking a lead of 207 runs.
Pragyan Ojha (4-142) and Ashwin (3-183) were once again the wicket takers.
Even this england routing India will be good if it gives some humility in Indian cricket team
Donkey Team Tag is perfect one for India.They were dreaming of 4-0,now there dream is shattered and look like Donkey Team of Modern Day cricket.Lets not forget they should stop dreaming about creating Saeed Ajmal or Abdul Rehman and even Hafeez looks more threatening than any of Indian spinners.Now defeated and battered ,they are poor loser and I am sure at this rate they will be competing for bottom spot with Bangladesh.Good luck for last position in Test cricket.Definitely even donkey can play better cricket than Indian cricket team.Now enjoy losing back to back match to England.Good luck on losing test match.All teams don’t have Misbah to lead at neutral venue and destroy test cricket teams with Saeed Ajmal,Abdul Rehman,Hafeez.No wonder its proved now that India have worst spinners in Test cricket
It shows the true class of Indian Cricket what they are worth. But buying World Cup by playing fix matches won’t help Indian cricket at all.
Atleast my team is able to make you happy, I’m proud of that. Any team wins world cup that’s okay with you but if India wins you cant digest, you know why because you can’t forgot 1971 till now.

Very well played England. It is not just bowling and batting, it is fielding as well that is responsible for dismissal of key batsmen at crucial stage. Sehwag’s run out in first innings and Pujara’s run out in second innings are just 2 examples of the commitment and effort England has put into this series.
As an Indian fan, I am disappointed at dismal show by Indian batsmen and bowlers. I hope this string of defeats triggers an overhaul of India cricket which include ‘resting, my all time favourite S Tendulkar, changing Captain for tests, giving immensely talented Virat Kohli number 4 position and bringing in Manoj Tiwari. It is already too late. Bowling was never India’s forte but batting is in abundance.
Complacency, lack of application, and taken for granted their place in the team are major reasons for these defeats.

England is my favorite team (of course after Pakistan). Well done England, you deserve victory.
This shows how superior Pakistan cricket team is compared to over paid and over hyped indians. Pakistan trounced England comprehensively in Test series and the same England team is comprehensively giving a drubbing to indians on their home turf. GREAT!!!!!!!!!!
