LAHORE: The Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif said on Tuesday that in order to eliminate the sense of deprivation amongst the people of Balochistan, their complaints should be addressed and the “murderers” of Nawab Akbar Bugti be arrested, DawnNews reported.

Sharif was speaking at a meeting with Balochistan National Party’s (BNP) leaders, Dr Jahanzeb Jamal Deeni, Jahanzeb Baloch and Rauf Mengal in Raiwind.

The PML-N chief said that constant implementation of martial law in Balochistan had brought about a sense of deprivation amongst the people of Balochistan.

He added that the current government had not done anything for the people of the province, but in fact, they increased their difficulties.

Nawaz Sharif further said that as a nation, it was our national responsibility to alleviate the suffering of our fellow Balochis and allow them their rights.

Furthermore, Sharif said that his party was in contact with the leadership in Balochistan and would continue to raise their voice for the rights and problems of the people of the province.
