QUETTA: An additional session judge in Quetta issued arrest warrants for provincial minister Shama Parveen Magsi and member National Assembly Nasir Ali Shah on Wednesday for submitting fake degrees for the purpose of elections, DawnNews reported.

Both legislators are from the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).

The arrest warrants were issued to the legislators for failing to appear in court in the fake degrees’ case.

The court issued directives to the police to arrest Magsi and Shah and present them before it.

COMMENTS

  1. Did they got their degree from another planet which took that much for authorities to verify ?

  2. Pakistan and accountibility both are so distant like a train from puncture.

  3. Justice delayed, Justice denied.

  4. The fake degree holders should be banned for life time to set the harsh example .

  5. No body give any weightage to Supreme court as cases go on for years and killers and wrong doers roam about free doing further wrongs

  6. well done—but in vain

  7. This seems to be the only legal way to deal with these utterly lawless and toxic feudals sucking around.
