Dear Khuram i really appreciate your effort of writing but i encourage if you understand the cases behind these waivers and exemptions SROs / FTA and this figure of 650Bs.
most of SROs are for the mean of adjustment and to control Pakistan’s market inflation and to transfer
relief for end user. for example some of SROs have been issued for Renewable energy products to relax our energy crises and to encouraging Eco life in Pakistan.
and its simple to understand that if trader or manufacture pay tax to customs on port they will transfer same cost to end user no curtsy in this business.
and dear this figure of 650 Bs is not made by civilian or manufacturer. you have to take a look on the details of Army imports and other Govt. departments Import, civilians and peoples like us only use the 10% to 20% part of this waivers and exemptions.

any how we are confused nation and i m part of this i m not amazed to this.

I guess this time the IMF will finally force us to implement VAT, as they look serious about meeting the targets before any aid is agreed.
