LAHORE, Dec 12: The Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid submitted on Wednesday a privilege motion to the Punjab Assembly raising the issue of displacing 300 families in Faisalabad by the Punjab government.

PML-Q parliamentary leader Chaudhry Zaheeruddin filed the motion.

He said 300 families had been dwelling near the Agriculture University for decades and the Punjab government instead of giving them property rights had displaced them, which was very unfortunate.

He said the Punjab government wanted to make the campus of the Government College University on the vacated place.

He demanded of the Punjab government to give property rights to the displaced families and find some other suitable place for the GCU campus.
