KARACHI, Dec 13: A six-year-old boy died on Thursday after being run over by a minibus in a Landhi locality.

According to the police, the accident took place in Sherpao Colony, near Star Ground.

The driver of minibus (route D-7) was backing the vehicle up when he ran over six-year-old Shahzaib.

The driver rushed the boy to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre but he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Later, the driver fled the hospital.

The victim was a resident of Sherpao Colony and son of a factory worker.
