A lesson from crows

I WAS recently sitting at a tea stall. I saw a cat with a dead crow in its mouth, while hundreds of crows were making a hue and cry. I was really shocked and felt crows are better than our society.

We, as human beings, are living in an insensitive society where five to six people are killed on a daily basis, while we also witness several robberies, street crimes and violence. But there is hardly any effect and we rarely raise much hue and cry unlike crows which raise hell when they see one of their kind being killed. Are crows better than us? God help us and our country.

  1. Thank you for this most wise of observations. I try to teach others that the salvation of our own species is in the natural world. We need only open our eyes to its wisdom. Many blessings, Javed.
