To start with; the posting of his son-in-law in the PM secretariat while he is the serving PM himself, is a conflict of interest. Relatives should never be posted in the same department of public service. Now nominating him for the World Bank job without consideration of merit and competition is clearly nepotism, injustice to deserving candidates; thus promotion of corruption by the PM. Appointment of President’s daughter; Asifa Benazir Bhutto as Pakistan’s ambassador to eradicate polio, is another example of nepotism and keeping it “all” in the family. When will Pakistani “leaders” learn to lead? And when Pakistan will become fortunate enough to have leaders who have the character to work beyond self promotion, petty self-interests and with dedication to public service?

This is our rulers’ view of honesty. This is a muslim’s view of integrity; then you ask me why we are one big humiliated lot.And last night in a talk show a Jiyala was heard saying that this government is better than those preceded it. The word honour, honesty, integrity,decency , etc. etc. etc. have been deleted by the clowns in the country. And then you ask me as to what shall happen to the country.Become blind and deaf just as your PM is and he will,in his views, go to heaven!! Hang down your heads my countrymen, hang down your heads in shame!
